Ingredients
- 200g feta cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until soft.
- Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
- Crumble feta cheese into the pot and stir until melted.
- Add heavy cream, black pepper, oregano, and salt. Stir well.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, then blend until smooth.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use full-fat feta for a richer flavor.
- Adjust salt to taste as feta is naturally salty.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
