Description

Ingredients

  • 500g whole spelt flour
  • 350ml water
  • 100g active sourdough starter
  • 10g salt


Instructions

  1. Mix flour and water in a bowl. Let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Add sourdough starter and salt. Knead until smooth.
  3. Cover and let rise for 4-6 hours at room temperature.
  4. Shape the dough and place in a proofing basket.
  5. Let rise for another 2 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 230°C (450°F).
  7. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
