Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the zucchinis into 1/4-inch rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the zucchini rounds lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Bake for 5 minutes to soften the zucchini slightly.
- Remove from the oven and top each zucchini round with a small spoonful of marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, followed by Italian seasoning.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
