Ingredients
- 1 cup wild rice
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook wild rice in water according to package instructions.
- Steam broccoli florets until tender.
- Mix cooked rice, broccoli, cheddar cheese, milk, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh broccoli for best results.
- Substitute wild rice with brown rice if needed.
- Add cooked chicken for extra protein.
