Description
A simple and healthy side dish featuring roasted onions glazed with honey and garlic.
Ingredients
- 4 medium onions, peeled and quartered
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Toss onions with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spread onions on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Mix honey, garlic, and thyme in a small bowl.
- Brush the glaze over the onions and roast for another 10 minutes.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use red or yellow onions for best results.
- Adjust honey quantity for desired sweetness.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
