A simple and flavorful side dish featuring roasted onions glazed with honey and garlic.
Ingredients
- 4 medium onions, peeled and quartered
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss the quartered onions with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the onions on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 20 minutes, then flip the onions.
- Mix honey and minced garlic, then drizzle over the onions.
- Roast for another 15 minutes until caramelized.
- Sprinkle with fresh thyme before serving.
Notes
- Use red or yellow onions for best results.
- Adjust honey quantity based on sweetness preference.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
