A spicy and cheesy twist on classic hashbrowns, inspired by jalapeño poppers.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded potatoes
- 1/2 cup diced jalapeños
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped bacon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Mix shredded potatoes, jalapeños, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, bacon, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Press the potato mixture into the skillet evenly.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip and cook the other side for another 5-7 minutes.
- Serve hot.

- Adjust jalapeño quantity for desired spiciness.
- Use pre-shredded potatoes for convenience.
- Top with sour cream or avocado for extra flavor.
