Description

A delicious poke cake infused with coconut and chocolate flavors, inspired by the classic Mounds candy bar.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare cake mix with water, oil and eggs according to package directions.
  3. Bake in 9×13 pan for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and immediately poke holes all over cake with handle of wooden spoon.
  5. Pour sweetened condensed milk over warm cake, letting it soak into holes.
  6. Sprinkle shredded coconut evenly over top.
  7. Let cake cool completely.
  8. Spread whipped topping over cooled cake.
  9. Drizzle chocolate syrup over whipped topping.
  10. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
