A hearty and flavorful casserole combining mushrooms, ground beef, and cheese for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Cook until softened.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheeses.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Add breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.
