Description
A hearty one-pot meal with ground beef, pasta, and tomatoes.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Stir in macaroni, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and spices.
- Pour in water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Adjust spices to taste.
- Add cheese on top if desired.
