Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, beef broth, and spices.
  4. Bring to a boil, then add macaroni.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes until macaroni is tender.
  6. Top with shredded cheese if desired.
