Ingredients

  • 1 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook without stirring until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in baking soda, vanilla, and salt.
