Description
A quick and healthy stir-fry dish with Mongolian-inspired flavors, featuring ground beef and noodles.
Ingredients
- 8 oz whole wheat noodles
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add garlic, ginger, carrots, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- Mix in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked noodles and toss to combine. Garnish with green onions.
Notes
- Use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
