Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 6 large eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 cups frozen hashbrowns
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Add softened cream cheese to the egg mixture and stir until smooth.
- Combine cooked sausage, hashbrowns, and egg mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until eggs are set.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use thawed hashbrowns for even cooking.
- Substitute turkey sausage for a lighter option.
