Description
A hearty sausage gnocchi soup with rich flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb gnocchi
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown sausage in a pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in gnocchi and cook until they float.
- Reduce heat, add heavy cream and seasonings.
- Simmer for 5 minutes before serving.
