Ingredients
- 8 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and lay flat on a clean surface.
- Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Mix ricotta, Parmesan, egg, basil, and oregano in a bowl.
- Spread ricotta mixture evenly over each lasagna noodle.
- Sprinkle cooked sausage over the ricotta layer.
- Roll up each noodle tightly and place seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the roll-ups. Top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Use no-boil lasagna noodles to save time.
- Substitute ground beef or turkey for sausage if preferred.
