Description

A simple slow cooker recipe for spaghetti squash with meat and tomatoes.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium spaghetti squash
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano


Instructions

  1. Cut spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  2. Place squash halves in slow cooker, cut side up.
  3. Brown meat in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
  4. Mix meat with tomatoes and seasonings.
  5. Spoon meat mixture into squash halves.
  6. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  7. Use a fork to scrape squash into strands before serving.

Notes

  • For vegetarian version, omit meat or use plant-based substitute.
  • Add cheese on top before serving if desired.
