Description
A simple slow cooker recipe for spaghetti squash with meat and tomatoes.
Ingredients
- 1 medium spaghetti squash
- 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Cut spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
- Place squash halves in slow cooker, cut side up.
- Brown meat in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
- Mix meat with tomatoes and seasonings.
- Spoon meat mixture into squash halves.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Use a fork to scrape squash into strands before serving.
Notes
- For vegetarian version, omit meat or use plant-based substitute.
- Add cheese on top before serving if desired.
