Ingredients

  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and black pepper.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.
