A comforting and hearty casserole made with tender beef, sour cream, and egg noodles, baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (12 oz) package egg noodles
- 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked noodles, beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Add frozen peas or carrots for extra veggies.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
