Description
Crispy chicken wings coated in a sweet and sticky honey glaze with Southern flavors.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss wings with oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Bake wings for 40 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Mix honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and water in a saucepan.
- Simmer glaze for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Toss baked wings in glaze.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil wings for 2-3 minutes after glazing.
- Adjust cayenne pepper for more or less heat.
- Use fresh honey for best flavor.
