A hearty and easy-to-make casserole featuring tator tots as the star ingredient, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 package (32 oz) frozen tator tots
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, milk, cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the bottom of a crockpot.
- Arrange the frozen tator tots in a single layer on top of the beef mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Serve hot and enjoy.

- You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Add diced onions or bell peppers for extra flavor.
