Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add black beans, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder. Stir well.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Add Velveeta and milk. Stir until cheese melts.
  4. Mix in shredded cheddar cheese until smooth.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips or bread.

Notes

  • Adjust jalapeños for more or less heat.
