Description
A comforting beef noodle casserole with sour cream for richness.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook noodles according to package directions, then drain.
- Brown beef with onion in a skillet over medium heat.
- Stir in soup, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Combine beef mixture with cooked noodles.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
Notes
- Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
