Description

Crispy and guilt-free onion rings made in an air fryer. Perfect as a snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, sliced into rings
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Separate onion slices into rings.
  3. Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Dip onion rings in beaten egg, then coat with flour mixture.
  5. Toss coated rings with breadcrumbs.
  6. Lightly spray or brush with olive oil.
  7. Place rings in air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
