Description
Make soft pretzel bites in your air fryer for a healthier snack. You get the classic taste with less oil.
Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ cup baking soda
- 4 cups water
- Coarse salt for topping
Instructions
- Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead into a dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
- Divide dough into small pieces to form bites.
- Boil 4 cups water with baking soda. Dip each bite for 30 seconds.
- Place bites in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with coarse salt before serving.
Notes
- Use parchment paper in the air fryer to prevent sticking.
- Check bites at 8 minutes to avoid over-browning.
- Serve with mustard or cheese dip if desired.
