Description
A healthy and flavorful dish featuring Greek-style meatballs cooked in a crockpot, served with creamy tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried mint
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, mint, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Form into 1-inch meatballs and place in the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
- Combine yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, and olive oil to make tzatziki.
- Serve meatballs with tzatziki sauce.
