Description

Delicious and healthy chicken meatballs flavored with sage, served with creamy parmesan orzo. A perfect meal for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup orzo
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan (for orzo)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix chicken, sage, breadcrumbs, egg, parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Shape into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until fully cooked.
  5. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Add orzo and toast for 2 minutes.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan until creamy.
  9. Serve meatballs over orzo.
