Description
A quick and healthy fish taco recipe with a spicy lime marinade for bold flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
Instructions
- Mix olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Coat fish fillets with the marinade and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook fish for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Flake the cooked fish into pieces.
- Warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
- Fill tortillas with fish, cabbage, cilantro, avocado, and a drizzle of Greek yogurt.
Notes
- Use fresh lime juice for best flavor.
- Adjust spice level with more or less chili powder.
- Corn tortillas can be swapped for whole wheat.
