Description

A hearty and creamy broccoli cheese casserole with wild rice, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook wild rice according to package instructions.
  3. Steam broccoli florets until tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix cooked rice, steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
