Description
Make crispy sweet potato chips at home with just 5 ingredients. This healthy snack is baked, not fried, for a guilt-free treat.
Ingredients
- 2 medium sweet potatoes (about 500g)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Slice sweet potatoes thinly (about 1/8 inch thick) using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- Toss slices with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Arrange slices in a single layer on baking sheets.
- Bake for 15 minutes, flip chips, then bake 10-15 more minutes until crisp.
- Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days
- For extra crispiness, bake longer at lower temperature (150°C for 30-40 minutes)
